Job description
Nature of Work:
Maintenance Technician will provide preventative maintenance to full-service, automated, conveyor car washes. This key role is responsible for comprehensive property maintenance, ensuring optimal daily car wash operations and quality of service. Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for repairs and emergency breakdowns. You will be provided a credit card and gas card for traveling between different sites for repairs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to perform metal fabrication and welding.
- Journey level plumbing and electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatics and commercial conveyor systems.
- Travel between all stores in the market performing tunnel repairs and new equipment installs.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize repairs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to travel from site to site.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English. Mobility and travel from site to site is required. Valid driver's
license and a clean driving record. Physical stamina. Comfortable working outdoors. Attention to detail is key.
Scope of Position:
This position reports to the Regional Manager and has some direct supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions:
This position works in an outside environment 100% of the time. Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces and hot-cold temperatures.
